Establishing a CSUF WiFi Account
Access to the campus EDUROAM WiFi network is a two-step process.
Step 1: You must establish a CSUF Student Account and have access to the Student Portal. You will need to obtain your CWID (Campus Wide ID) and PIN# from the OLLI office. Once you have this information, click HERE for instructions on how to establish a CSUF Student Account. This account also provides access to your student portal, which provides you with benefits such as online tutorials in Lynda.com and if you audit CSUF classes, you will access the course management system, Titanium.
Step 2: Bring your mobile device to CSUF to set it up. Apple devices (laptops, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) are supported by the campus but not all Android mobile devices are supported. In spring and summer 2016, the CSUF-Titans WiFi will be decommissioned and you will need to switch to the EDUROAM WiFi system.
- Click HERE for instructions for Android mobile devices.
- Click HERE to go to a campus website that will provide you with instructions for other specific mobile devices.
- If you have forgotten or misplaced your CSUF Username and password, click HERE for instructions to re-establish your account. You will need your original CWID and PIN#. If you've also misplaced these, contact the OLLI office.
The OLLI Computer Education Committee (CEC) offers workshops (WX1) to help you establish your CSUF Student Account but you MUST first obtain your CWID and PIN# from the OLLI office. Check the Blue Book catalog for information on when these workshops are offered.
In addition, you can attend the free Friday Open Lab to obtain help with establishing your CSUF WiFi Account. These open labs occur every Friday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in Room 20.
