Parking and the OLLI Trolley
The OLLI Trolley
The OLLI Trolley will run between the ruby Gerontology Center and parking lots G and A. There will only be one pick up point next to the Arboretum parking lot and the stadium near Lot G.
Monday through Thursday:
Campus parking officials are confident that parking facilities on the campus will be sufficient to accommodate OLLI members, as well as CSUF students, faculty and staff, given that CSUF plans to offer only about 65% of their classes in person. The rest will continue to be virtual, resulting in reduced demand for parking on campus.
Lot J on the east side of the Ruby Gerontology Center will continue to be available exclusively to OLLI members until 6:00 p.m. on weekdays (no change from previous years). Since many of OLLI’s courses will remain virtual on Zoom, we don’t expect this lot to be as jammed as it has been in past years.
Lots G and A, which run along Yorba Linda Blvd., remain the preferred Lot J overflow parking choices for OLLI members, and the OLLI Trolley provides transportation to Lot G.
Parking Structures: The Nutwood Parking Structure on Nutwood Avenue is once again available to OLLI members.
OLLI members’ parking permits are not valid in the new Eastside North or the Eastside South Parking Structures, near the Fullerton Marriott at the south campus entrance, throughout the next academic year.
Lot E, just south of the Gastronome cafeteria, is no longer available. The University is building new student housing units where Lot E used to be.
Lot D parking is allowed for OLLI members, but not recommended. Parking is limited to a maximum of three hours from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
In anticipation of the lower demand for parking on campus this semester, the University will not provide assisted parking services in any of the surface lots, as they have in previous years, and there will be no offsite parking option at the EV Free Church.
