January 6, 13, 20, 27
Geoscience is a relatively new science, but advancements and discoveries have influenced society. These discoveries are the result of many man-hours of research and field work by geologists and other geoscience engineers and have made an impact on our present-day living conditions that will continue into the future. The class will include a section on the Orange County Water District (OCWD) and the water treatment center in Fountain Valley. An all-day field trip will be offered.
