As part of OLLI-CSUF Collaboration activities, CSUF School of Music students are given the opportunity to perform for our members in order to fulfill performance requirements for credit toward their degrees. These students are top-rated performers. Faculty members are also invited to participate. In the event that faculty/students are not able to perform on the scheduled dates, lectures on a variety of musical subjects will be presented instead. Additional information will be provided through the weekly OLLI newsletters and posted throughout the Ruby Gerontology Center.

Cello Choir Concert

CSUF Faculty: Bongshin Ko, Professor of Music (Cello) and School of Music, Assistant Director
The Cello Choir is returning to OLLI after a long absence since the Pandemic. Join us in welcoming them back to OLLI as they prepare for their upcoming concert on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 6 pm in the Recital Hall. The Cello Choir is scheduled to travel to Germany in June 2025, so they are searching for opportunities to perform in person as they prepare their overseas program for the Summer.
This Program includes various cello ensemble music as well as select solo performances. Come listen to the beautiful haunting sounds of the cello artistry at its finest. The music will amaze you. Our collaboration with the School of Music provides a venue for the students to present their music to a live audience. This is an important part of them sharpening their skills.
Please join us for a chance to meet our students and enjoy refreshments as you get acquainted with them.
