American Sign Language is a valuable language to learn, and the ability to engage and communicate with the hearing impaired is a great benefit. This course will provide a basic level of skill to communicate with a spouse, friend or grandchild, and, if you yourself are hearing impaired, communicate more comfortably in a wide variety of situations. This course will introduce the ASL alphabet, concepts, words and signing styles. Also included will be signing songs in ASL. As the course continues, your knowledge and ability to communicate will continue to expand and grow as you explore this beautiful language.
