This multimedia course goes behind the headlines of consumer and financial news. Each class focuses on “anchor” topics as well as a brisk review of recent personal finance, economic and business news from such leading publications as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Economist, Consumer Reports and regional and local periodicals. Participants are encouraged to bring up topics they wish to explore. With so many retirement nest eggs dependent on financial markets, “Money News” provides participants with insights and vital discussion on issues affecting their consumer choices and personal economic security.
