Reiki Self-Care is a Japanese technique which reduces stress and promotes relaxation and peace. By reducing stress, the body’s natural healing energies are able to flow freely and abundantly. Reiki is safe, gentle, and non-intrusive and works only for your highest good. In this two-and-a-half-hour introduction to Reiki Self-Care, you will learn about the background of Reiki and you will be attuned to receive the Reiki energy. You will learn and practice basic hand positions and develop your intuition by learning to give yourself a seated Reiki treatment in class. Reiki is not part of any religion, and has no dogma/belief required to learn and use it. Many people continue to practice Reiki self-treatment on an ongoing basis to maintain a peaceful mind, body and spirit and avoid becoming disconnected in their busy, always-on lifestyles.
