Speaker: Charles Vega, M.D.

Dr. Vega, a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the UCI School of Medicine, has presented many medical education programs at various hospitals in Southern California, including St. Jude Medical Center, regarding this subject. He has recently attended an international conference in Europe regarding the value and abuse of marijuana. It is of particular interest to the residents of the state of California relative to possible changes in the law regarding this subject.

Dr Zamarra is a cardiologist in Orange County with a special interest in the latest methods for diagnosis and treatment of hypertension. He will discuss the new criteria for the diagnosis and changes in the types of treatment for various levels of severity of hypertension.
