Giving an OLLI Membership as a Gift

 

Did you know? You may give a gift membership to a family member or close friend. At the current time, the gift membership process utilizes the online registration process that is found on the OLLI-CSUF website, under the JOIN/RENEW tab.

First, familiarize yourself with what you will need to proceed

If your intended recipient is not a current OLLI member, and has never been a member, you would start by reading the instructions for joining as a new member, found at the link below.

The instruction documents describe all the information you would need to have on hand to complete the registration process. If you are unable to obtain the required information, we recommend that you bring your intended recipient to OLLI’s Spring Preview and go through the registration process with the aid of our OLLI volunteers.

If your intended recipient is a current OLLI member, or has been a member recently, then you would start by reading the instructions for registering as a returning member. You will need the cooperation of the member, as the registration process requires that they login with their username and password.

Going through the registration process

With your instructions in hand, or open in another tab, click on the blue REGISTER button found on the JOIN/RENEW webpage. Fill in the required fields on page one. All of this information should be about the gift recipient.

Next, proceed to the second page to enter the billing information to pay for your gift. This information will be about you: either your credit card or bank account number. Use your email address so that the receipt comes to you, and use the phone number associated with the credit card or bank account used.
