Classical Guitar Ensemble classical guitar

Every Wednesday  • 3:30 p.m.-5 p.m.  •  Room 18

June 14, 28 • July 12, 26 • August 9

For anyone who would like to play a classical guitar, make music in a group and support mental and physical health, come join us! Music from the 17th century to the present will be played in the classical guitar, fingerstyle method. A classical (nylon-stringed) instrument, foot stool, music stand and the book “Solo Guitar Playing—Book 1,” fourth edition, by Frederick Noad are required. It is important that the student can read music. The first half of each class will be working on guitar technique and playing skills, including music reading, and the second half of each class is spent developing repertoire.
