Google Photos is a free app that allows you unlimited storage space, as long as you accept a maximum “high resolution” file size defined by Google. A number of editing tools are available, and photos can be organized into albums that can be shared with others through a link. The class will focus on using Google Photos on your mobile device. Students completing this course should be able to: 1) Use Google Photos to offload photos taken with their mobile devices to a photo library in the clouds; 2) Organize photos into albums; 3) Share photos and albums with others via email or through social media such as Facebook; 4) Edit your photo using the sophisticated tools in the Snapseed app; and 5) Search for photos with specific criteria.
