In this hands-on course, conquer the touch screen, keyboard and voice input. Learn how to send and receive email and text messages. Use the device’s camera to shoot pictures and videos, save them and share them with friends and family. By connecting to your Google (Gmail) account, obtain applications (apps) and synchronize calendars and other information on your devices and home computer. Search the web for information and navigate the world using Google Maps. After you’re comfortable with the basics, learn how to add apps and widgets to make your device do what’s important to you: entertain you, monitor news and weather, or help you to be more productive. Learn to use a password vault app to help you safely remember all those account names and passwords that have been driving you nuts. We use video lectures from Lynda.com that you can re-watch any time, any place, to review what you’ve learned.
