Volunteer Recognition

Saturday, April 20, 2024,  11:30 am to 2:00 pm,  Shapiro ABCD

RSVP is required. RSVP signups: Monday, March 25 through Friday, April 12, 2025

The month of April is Volunteer Appreciation Month.  This is OLLI’s opportunity to recognize our volunteers and their generous gifts of time, talent, and effort which create the many classes and events we enjoy throughout the year.  Our Volunteers are the core of our organization, making OLLI a dynamic and successful part of the university.  Please help us show appreciation to the over 250 volunteers.   All members are invited to the Volunteer Recognition Reception to thank and acknowledge the many members who devote themselves for our benefit.  Film Preview to follow.

Following a presentation honoring our Volunteers, we will offer the first public premier of a special film, produced by Chris Kondo, VP, CSUF Emeriti.  The 30-minute film will be followed by a panel discussion.  The film: “The Longevity Diaries:  About Aging Gracefully”, focuses on five individuals, mostly OLLI members, ages 81-103.  The film explores what they do to live long and well.

The reception is open to all OLLI members and one guest.  There will be light lunch available to satisfy your taste buds, and you will have a chance to thank those who make OLLI great for you.
