Retirement Housing Options Workshop and Resource Fair

October 4
9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. • Mackey Auditorium and Shapiro Wing

Few decisions are as consequential as housing during retirement. Access to family, friends, medical services, shopping and entertainment must be assessed. Whether your choice is “aging in place” where you currently live or moving to a rental or “entry fee” retirement community, there are many options in North Orange County. Your options, including nearby retirement communities and their facilities, services and costs, will be examined. A panel of OLLI members who live in retirement communities will also discuss their experiences and answer questions. Decision-making criteria will be explored to address alternatives as changes occur in your independent living status and future caregiving/care-receiving needs.
