The understanding of mindfulness involves a mental state of increased self-awareness and ways to increase wisdom and compassion in one’s life.
Class 1: Why mindfulness matters.
Class 2: Increasing capacity to anchor a sense of presence.
Class 3: Building four basic functions of mindfulness involving observation, listening, enquiry, and intuition.
Class 4: Learning to walk on the path of self-discovery by becoming aware of who you are, where you are and where you want to be.
Class 5: Connecting with synchronistic events.
Pre-Registration is required for the Mindfulness: Forging New Possibilities for Successful Aging class being held during the Summer Session. The class will be limited to 29 students. Pre-Registration begins Monday, May 22, in the OLLI Office.
