Weight and Fitness
Every Wednesday • 9:00 a.m. • Room 19 • OLLI “Chew-the-Fat” discussion and weigh-in
Coordinators: Barbara Talento, Russ Havemann
 
Members meet on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. to discuss nutrition, weight loss, fitness and exercise. This is a light hearted, informative meeting led by nursing professional Barbara Talento and an RGC-registered nurse. Members then report to the nurse’s station next to the Mackey Auditorium anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to have their weight taken and recorded on the member’s personal weigh-in record booklet. Members also receive a weekly food journal to chart their daily food intake. The nurse will also take blood pressure readings and discuss other medical and dietetic issues.
