WINE COUNTRY CRUISE – This package is filling up fast, so if you are interested, you need to move fast!  The travel committee is offering OLLI members a 7 Day Princess Wine Country Coastal Cruise on the Sapphire Princess, departing May 8, 2010. Leaving from Los Angeles, the ship will stop in Santa Barbara, (optional trip into the wine country for the day), San Francisco, (optional trips include under the Golden Gate Bridge to Fisherman’s Wharf and wine country tours), on to Astoria, Oregon, Seattle, Victoria (optional tours to Buchart Gardens or Tea at the Empress) and then ending in Vancouver - disembark the ship and fly home on Alaska Air to Los Angeles. Cabins starting at $799.00 (double occupancy), air $241.25, gratuities $70.00, taxes $80.51 for a total of $1,200. SPAIN – A CHANCE TO USE YOUR SPANISH! - Explore Spain’s coastal gem, Torremolinos, famous as the hub of Costa del Sol.  Apartment-style living with easy access to beaches, marinas, and museums, and cities like Seville and Granada.  27 meals provided, including dining experiences as part of a  Dine-Around program. COSTA RICA – ANOTHER CHANCE TO USE YOUR SPANISH! - Visit natural parks and tropical forests including rain and cloud forests (Monteverde and Manuel Antonio).  13 days - including international airfare from Miami- from about $1995.  29 meals included. A small group tour (less than 16) by a major tour company, escorted by trip leader that speaks  English and Spanish.  Probable travel date is February, 2010.
